Guillermo Bert's Museum Show Named 1 of 12 Art Exhibitions to Check Out This Spring in LA

Already generating critical attention, Guillermo Bert’s solo show at the Museum of Latin American Art was recently selected by Time Out Los Angeles as one of “12 art exhibitions to check out this spring in L.A.”

The exhibition, “Guillermo Bert: Techno-Empathy”  bridges the gap between data and human experience through Bert’s innovative, multidisciplinary practice. Using tools such as QR codes, 3D imaging, and laser engraving, Bert embeds personal narratives into his works—allowing viewers to encounter the voices and stories of weavers, workers, and displaced communities firsthand. His projects transform textiles and 3D scanned sculptures into living archives of cultural memory and resilience. By merging cutting-edge technology with deeply human stories, the exhibition questions how we connect and empathize.
